Truckee, California (July 3, 2007)Rock Runner Racing's Unlimited and Pro Modified vehicles continued their winning ways in the WE Rock Western season finale at Donner Ski Ranch.

Jason Paule's Unlimited class rear steer buggy placed fifth overall, leaving him one point behind Tracy Jordan for the Western Series championship. Even with the strong finish, Paule wanted more. "Our engines really don't like the elevation here" he commented, shortly before his 39" BFGoodrich Krawlers catapulted him up a thirty foot tall vertical rock face. Competition was fierce and a high score on one obstacle was enough to take Paule out of the hunt for the win, even with the numerous bonus lines he completed. Mark Berger continued providing spotting duties as Travis Wadeson recovers from his violent car accident earlier this year. Wadeson was on site at Donner cheering on his Rock Runer Racing teammates and appeared to be well on the way to a full recovery.

The Pro Modified team of Brian Errea and Joachim Schwiesow placed second in the event and second for the series in their Twisted Customs YJ buggy. The duo was consistent all weekend, using teamwork and communication to stay at the front of the pack. With the Western Nationals complete, Rock Runner Racing will head to Texas in September for the WE Rock Grand Nationals. Both teams will be defending their wins from last year's Grand Nationals against a tough field of competitors.
