Rock Runner Racing Earns Unlikely Win In Pomona

Pomona, Califorina (October 8, 2007)Rock Runner Racing's George Wadeson is better known for his support role than as a championship driver. Wadeson brought home a trophy of his own from the recent Off Road Expo in Pomona though, one that will take a place on the crowded mantle next to awards earned by drivers Jason Paule, Brian Errea, and Joachim Schwiesow. Wadeson's 2006 Dodge Mega Cab dually made 613 horsepower and 1171 foot-pounds of torque to take top honors at the Bully Dog Diesel Dyno Shootout at the 2007 Off Road Expo. Wadeson walked away with $1000 cash and a new Bully Dog Performance Management Tool for his trouble. “I've used Bully Dog's Triple Dog since first purchasing the truck” Wadeson stated, “and I am excited to add their new PMT as well.”

Making the win even sweeter is the fact that this is not a dedicated race or dyno truck. On the contrary, Wadeson's Cummins powered Mega Cab is the Rock Runner Racing tow vehicle that has racked up over 60,000 miles in the last year, pulling the teams Twisted Customs' buggies to rockcrawling events around the country. “Most of the miles have been accumulated with a 20,000 pound trailer in tow,” Wadeson reported, “that takes a lot more reliability than just a quick pull on the dyno.” The power numbers come from a wide assortment of parts, including the Bully Dog Triple Dog downloader, Industrial Injection dual turbochargers, Dynomite Diesel injectors, Snow Performance water/methanol injection, and an intercooler, intake manifold, and exhaust from Gale Banks. The Bully Dog Diesel Dyno Shootout was held at the Off Road Expo, which saw over 40,000 visitors over the course of the weekend. In addition to the dyno pulls, spectators were treated to live music, off-road racing, press conferences from SCORE and WE Rock, and displays from over 300 of the biggest names in the off-road industry. In addition to the spectators there was also television, print, and online media representing Xtreme 4x4, Off-Road TV, Diesel Power, Dirt Sports, Crawl, Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road, Fourwheeler, Off-Road, and Pirate4x4.com.

The next stop for Rock Runner Racing will be the SEMA Show in Las Vegas before returning to Southern California for the King of the Hammers event in February.
