Rock Runner Racing Gives Back to Community at 2007 Dakota Territory Challenge
Rapid City, South Dakota (September 3, 2007)Rock Runner Racing teammates Jason Paule and Brian Errea have both been members of the Black Hills 4Wheelers since before they were old enough to drive. Now the professional drivers are giving back to the club as volunteers and trail leaders for the 2007 Dakota Territory Challenge. This was the 25th anniversary of the Challenge, offering the hardest trails yet. As fitting with their experience, Paule and Errea led this run.
Coolers and tool bags were strapped to the Twisted Customs buggies as the duo lead the treacherous Captain Crunch trail. On Friday 8 vehicles from Montrose, Colorado braved the trail in an all day crawlfest. Saturday a smaller group comprised of Spidertrax employees and Mike Knorr in his Twisted Customs buggy followed Rock Runner Racing's spotting to work their way through the trail. By Sunday word of the trail had spread through camp like wildfire, and no one was brave enough to attempt Captain Crunch. Paule and Errea used the free time to help cleanup efforts with the rest of the Black Hills 4Wheelers.
