Rock Runner Racing - Professional Extreme Rock Crawling Competitors

NEW VEHICLES FOR THE 2009 SEASON

After demonstrating the strength of their Twisted Customs buggies in the past several season of rockcrawling and rock racing abuse, the members of Rock Runner Racing are pulling out all of the stops and constructing all new vehicles for the 2009 season. In conjunction with the industry-leading sponsors, the team is constructing new vehicles for WE Rock's Unlimited class and Pro Modified class, as well as a new high speed buggy built specifically for rock racing and events such as the King of the Hammers. All of these vehicles will utilize the same Twisted Customs Geodynamic chassis, Chevrolet Gen III V8 engines, Advance Adapter Atlas II transfer cases, Spidertrax Spider9 axle housings, True Hi 9 third members, and stunning paint and graphics that have reliably served Rock Runner Racing for years. Some differences between the vehicles include the following:

  • Sloped Hood For Maximum Visibility

PREVIOUS ROCK RUNNER RACING COMPETITION VEHICLES

Unlimited Class Matrix Buggy Pro Mod/Rock Racing YJ Buggy
Jason Paule's distintive Matrix buggy is one of the most recognizable vehicles in all of off-road motorsports. Competiting against smaller, lighter moon buggies, the two-seat ,rear-steer Twisted Customs' buggy flies in the face of convention. Is the secret to success driver skill or superior design? The answer is... a little bit of both.

There is perhaps no vehicle in competitive rock sports that is more abused than Rock Runner Racing's distinctive yellow YJ buggy. The Twisted Customs buggy alternates between Brian Errea behind the wheel in WE Rock's Pro Mod class and Joachim Schwiesow in XRRA rock racing. Despite the abuse, it never lets the team down.
